Simmi is the proud owner of Perfect Wrap, a much-loved food spot in Corio Village known for its hearty meals, great coffee, and warm service. Though it’s her first business, Simmi brings over a decade of experience in the food industry—and a genuine passion for making people feel at home.

Can you tell us a little more about your journey and how you started Perfect Wrap?

"I took over Perfect Wrap in June 2020 and saw an opportunity to refresh the menu and create something special. I’ve always loved working in food, and owning my own business has allowed me to bring that love to life every day."

What do you love to do when you're not at work?

"I spend my one day off each week with my children. It’s my time to recharge and enjoy quality family time."

What products or services does Perfect Wrap offer that are unique, and what are customers loving right now?

"We offer a mix of comfort food and crowd favourites. Younger customers love our chips and gravy, while retirees rave about our shepherd’s pie and roast dinners—they’re great value.

"My personal favourite is the coffee—I’m passionate about it! It’s something I take pride in serving every day."

What do you love most about your job?

"The people. I love seeing familiar faces, chatting with regulars, and connecting with centre staff. It’s those relationships that make the job truly special."

Do you have a favourite time of year in the centre?

"Halloween and Christmas are my favourites—especially Halloween. The costumes, the energy, the fun—it brings such a festive vibe to the centre."
